Terms of Service.
Plain language where the law allows it. These terms govern your agency's use of Velo, operated by Golden Anchor. Questions to hello@goldenanchor.life.
01
The service
Velo is a CRM for independent health-insurance agencies: clients, policies, commissions, renewals, imports, and bilingual messaging. Your agency (the organization that signs up) owns its workspace and appoints an owner who administers roles, scopes, and billing.
02
Your account and your team
You are responsible for the accuracy of what your team enters and for keeping credentials private. Owners control per-agent visibility scopes; assistants never see commission amounts. Seats are per person and may not be shared.
03
No PHI, ever
Velo is deliberately PHI-free. You agree not to upload medical records, diagnoses, treatment history, claims data, or any other protected health information, including as file attachments or free-text notes. Warning banners mark the risky surfaces. If we find PHI we will delete it and notify you. Carrier portals remain the home for PHI, under the carrier's HIPAA umbrella.
04
Your data is yours
Your book of business belongs to your agency. We claim no ownership over client records, policies, or commission data, and we do not sell or mine them. You can export everything at any time, and for 90 days after cancellation.
05
Billing
Plans are billed monthly per seat through Stripe. The 14-day trial requires no card, and a paused trial never converts silently: we never charge a card we do not have. You can cancel from Settings; access continues to the end of the paid period.
06
Acceptable use
No reselling access, no scraping other tenants (row-level security makes that pointless anyway), no using Velo to send spam, and no attempting to re-identify encrypted SSNs. We may suspend accounts that put other tenants at risk, with notice where practical.
07
Service changes and availability
We ship changes continuously and log them under What's new. We aim for boring reliability on established infrastructure, but Velo is provided as-is, and scheduled maintenance windows may occur outside open-enrollment crunch periods whenever possible.
08
Liability and disputes
To the extent the law allows, our liability is capped at the fees your agency paid in the twelve months before a claim. These terms are governed by Florida law. We will always try a direct conversation before anything formal.
